Victims Directive Bill, November 2015
This Directive was established in November 2015 placing victims rights, support and protection on a Statutory level. This Directive provides many rights to victims most of all that their voices will be heard and their needs met as they go through the CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM
The Defination of 'Victim' is:
A natural person who has suffered harm, including physical, mental or emotional harm or economic loss which was directly caused by a criminal offence and/or family members of a person whose death was directly caused by a criminal offence and who have suffered harm as a result of that person's death.
